Alison studied at Camberwell College of Applied Arts, London for a B.A. Hons. Degree in Ceramics. Since graduating she has become a member of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild and has established a workshop in South Oxfordshire. She teaches pottery and figurative sculpture courses at Sunningwell School of Art and is a tutor in a variety of schools and community centres. Alison exhibits both sculptural and functional pieces. Alison loves the sea and the coast and her latest works reflect that with her unique representation of boats and harbours. All pieces are handmade and completely unique, no casts are utilised.
